UHA-Extender

Designed specifically for use in foodservice equipment, Renau’s UHA-Extender USB  uses either a Wi-Fi dongle or a USB flash drive to allow menu/configuration changes. By using Renau’s programming software, users can easily create or update recipe menus, warning alarms, and system configurations. For future use or reference, configuration files can be stored on an authorized user’s hard drive, or for larger chains can e-mailed to a remote location.

When it comes time to update the system, operators have two options. Either save the new file onto a USB flash drive and reprogram the equipment by inserting the drive into the UHA-Extender module, or connect to the the unit via Wi-Fi dongle and push the update wirelessly. By using a WiFi dongle the operator also gains additional oversight of their restaurant equipment through programmable remote data reporting. This reporting includes information such as internal diagnostics, current consumption, as well as error and over/under parameter alerts. Thereby, providing operators with valuable information that can save money, time, and headaches.
