Comprising of the flush mount UCM-2424 and the bezeled UCM-2224, both models are currently the most compact touchscreens in the Renau Display Module lineup. Featuring a durable and vibrant 2.4″ display, the 2024 Series saves valuable real estate on equipment, while lowering costs without sacrificing quality or durability. This small size makes the 2024 Series a great control option for commercial kitchen equipment such as refrigeration equipment, holding cabinets, griddles, rice cookers, microwaves, sous vide, mixers, blenders, and more. Renau’s development team will work with you to create the perfect UI specific to your application. What’s more, the UCM-2024 Series uses a glove-safe P-CAP touchscreen and is IK05+ rated for impact. Additionally, the entire module is fully encapsulated for superior protection against even the harshest kitchen environments. Resulting in a reliable, rugged user interface perfectly suitable in even the most demanding foodservice applications. For extra protection, both units can even be further ruggedized with an optional protective cover for use in high-traffic areas.

Both displays can be combined with a UHA-Extender for the ability to quickly and easily make recipe updates along with other programming changes via flash drive or Wi-Fi. Wireless connectivity is provided through Renau Cloud, where operators can make recipe updates, view HACCP logs, and perform equipment diagnostics.

Single Wire Communication provides equipment manufacturers with numerous benefits. Not only does it greatly reduce the complexity and cost of wiring harnesses, it also provides compatibility with all Renau temperature, power, switching, and hybrid modules. This modularity allows manufacturers to quickly and easily adapt the control system design to other equipment models with different power requirements or additional zones. Simply swap power and temperature modules as needed. Not only does this eliminate the need for different internal wiring, but also simplifies end product approval, and reduces inventory costs.
